In an extraordinary display of endurance, precision, and technical discipline, Pune-based automotive enthusiast Devjeet Saha has been officially recognized by the India Book of Records for achieving the maximum number of automotive acceleration tests performed by an individual in one day.
Saha accomplished a remarkable 1,011 acceleration runs (0–60 km/h) on a motorcycle within a span of 10 hours and 27 minutes, starting at 7:50 AM and concluding at 6:17 PM on January 12, 2025. The record has been formally confirmed by the India Book of Records on January 23, 2025.
This record-setting feat was not merely a test of speed, but a rigorous challenge of physical endurance, mental focus, and machine consistency. Repeating acceleration cycles over a thousand times in a single day required sustained concentration, controlled execution, and exceptional stamina.
